As a founding member of Greezy Wheels, Lissa brings that original Austin roots sound. Greezy Wheels was one of the very first Austin bands to sign with a BIG LABEL (London Records), they toured, they held court at Soap Creek Saloon and the Armadillo (shoot, they opened for Bruce Springsteen on his first stop in Austin!), they appeared on Austin City Limits— they were the real deal.
Larry grew up in west Texas and moved to Austin as a teenager. He started playing guitar and singing and began writing songs soon after. His first success came in the band Standing Waves, a seminal force in Austin’s 1970's punk/ new wave scene releasing some records and touring, He followed his music to New York, living and performing there. Since returning to Texas, he has continued to write, perform, and release acoustic and electric music. Seaman currently plays and records with Why Not Satellite.
Since 2010, Mark and Robbe have performed at coffeehouses, farmer's markets, wineries, breweries, bistros, pubs, bars, cafes and other venues in and around Austin and from Dallas to Port Aransas and La Grange to Fredericksburg. Acoustic finger-style guitar, vocal harmonies and engaging original songwriting highlight their truly unique musical style that encompasses vintage country, vintage rock, folk and blues.
American singer-songwriter, Mark Ambrose has been turning out songs faithful to the Texas folk/roots tradition yet still sounding like a much needed revival for our modern times. His particular charm, laidback and charismatic, is deceptively simple but also satisfyingly profound as the very best of folk music should be.
Carolyn Kendrick and Jake Howard, are an award-winning group (2016 Freshgrass Best Duo) who have a strong foothold in the acoustic music scene. Their partnership began as musical friends at Berklee College of Music. The Page Turners write sharp and adept original music, as well as put new twists on old favorites. All together, they blend their love of bluegrass, whiskey-fueled old-time, country, swing, and fearless song- writing into one all-purpose seasoning of good ole' fashioned roots music.

The Better Halves are an Austin, TX husband-wife musical duo specializing in making listeners smile. Jimmy Joe is a skilled guitarist. Country, bluegrass, folk, jazz, Latin and classical styles create a widely appealing repertoire. One of his car songs was featured on NPR's “Car Talk”. Chrissie joins him with sweet vocal harmonies and rhythm guitar. Her whimsical, melodic songwriting earned her the chance to perform on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion".
Mercier is a singer-songwriter, harmony vocalist and violin/fiddle player. She grew up in Westport, Connecticut where she studied classical music (appearing in a concert with Itzhak Perlman on his first American tour) and attended the first Woodstock Festival and Summer of Love in Haight-Ashbury. Mercier moved into New York after college and performed frequently at Kenny's Castaways, Folk City, Broadway Charlie's and CBGB's. Gigs at New York's Lone Star Cafe led to a Texas connection resulting in her move to Austin. In the early 1980s Mercier performed throughout Texas with her own band, also working with Ray Wylie Hubbard (with whom she toured nationally), Townes Van Zandt, Lucinda Williams, Butch Hancock, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Blaze Foley among others. Dickie Lee’s birthplace, Hobbs, New Mexico, is in a part of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico that is fertile ground for producing musicians. Several small towns and cities within a hundred miles of Hobbs are the birthplaces of many famous names in the music business, including Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Mac Davis, Gary P. Nunn, Sonny Throckmorton and the legendary Norman Petty Studio That proximity is incidental, but nonetheless, Dickie Lee’s roots are authentic.
