Danny Santos Saturday, March 2, 7:30pm
Singer/songwriter Danny Santos melds the inspiration of his Chicano heritage, a musical legacy ranging from Hank Williams to the Beatles, and a Texas-sized determination to create a unique mix of country/folk tinged with bluegrass and the blues. His songs illuminate the joys of true love, the woes of love lost, and the weary longing of those still searching for love.
An Austin music veteran of 30+ years, Woot settled in with an acoustic guitar when he found one of John Lennon’s acoustic guitars.  Actually, he didn’t find the guitar; it was a gift from his beautiful wife Tammy and Barbara -- best mom-in law a man could have.  And to be completely honest it isn’t technically “one of John Lennon’s guitars.”  It’s an Epiphone EJ-160 John Lennon Signature model.   A guy can dream can’t he? He is inspired by Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Big Bill Broonzey, Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, James Taylor, Keb Mo, Steve Earle and obviously John Lennon. Woot will be joined by David Fore, formally of legendary bands Bubblepuppy and D-Day. David currently plays drums with the award winning band The Eggmen.

Elgin’s own Gypsy Drifters play a mix of home grown originals, classic country, Americana and blues. Brian McKinney, local singer/songwriter and bassist Gary Luedecke formed the band in March of 2017. Veteran singer/songwriter Quinn Walton joined earlier this year when he moved from Austin to Elgin.

Giulia Millanta is a songwriter from Florence, Italy, now based in Austin, TX. She is a traveler. She is a writer. She is a performer who uses her own unique style in combination with various genres to craft music that connects cultures.

As a founding member of Greezy Wheels, Lissa brings that original Austin roots sound. Greezy Wheels was one of the very first Austin bands to sign with a BIG LABEL (London Records), they toured, they held court at Soap Creek Saloon and the Armadillo (shoot, they opened for Bruce Springsteen on his first stop in Austin!), they appeared on Austin City Limits— they were the real deal.
Lissa Hattersley & Trip Trio Saturday, March 30, 7:30pm
Quinn plays a wide variety of songs; his originals are jazzy, funky, bluesy, rockin or mellow. He just likes to play, simple as that, oh yea, he can sing some too. He will have some friends out to join him. Maybe a strange instrument or two.
