Danny Santos Saturday, December 9, 7:30pm Singer/songwriter Danny Santos melds the inspiration of his Chicano heritage, a musical legacy ranging from Hank Williams to the Beatles, and a Texas-sized determination to create a unique mix of country/folk tinged with bluegrass and the blues. His songs illuminate the joys of true love, the woes of love lost, and the weary longing of those still searching for love.

Lissa Hattersley & Trip Trio Friday, November 17, 7:30pm As a founding member of Greezy Wheels, Lissa brings that original Austin roots sound. Greezy Wheels was one of the very first Austin bands to sign with a BIG LABEL (London Records), they toured, they held court at Soap Creek Saloon and the Armadillo (shoot, they opened for Bruce Springsteen on his first stop in Austin!), they appeared on Austin City Limits— they were the real deal.

Fletcher Clark Saturday, October 21, 7:30pm Thought-provoking lyrics and great melodies in a wide range of styles from a veteran vocalist and guitarist, solo or with his top-shelf sidemen.  Fletcher’s songwriting is influenced by the Texas singer- songwriters for whom he has been sideman or producer (Steven Fromholz, Bobby Bridger, Rusty Wier, Gary P. Nunn, Dee Moeller, Rick Beresford, Kenneth Threadgill, Bill & Bonnie Hearne, et al).
Kathy Murray on guitar and ukulele, along with her longtime musical compadre Bill Arthur Jones on guitar, ukulele and accordion. Murray developed her vision of the blues in the formative days of the Austin blues scene, jamming with luminaries like Stevie Ray Vaughan, W.C. Clark, and members of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Kathy first burst on the Austin music scene with her early band Kathy and the Kilowatts, wowing audiences with a tremendous live show, and sharing the stage with everyone from Albert Collins to Koko Taylor.
Larry Seaman Saturday, October 7, 7:30pm Larry grew up in west Texas and moved to Austin as a teenager. He started playing guitar and singing and began writing songs soon after. His first success came in the band Standing Waves, a seminal force in Austin’s 1970's punk/ new wave scene releasing some records and touring, He followed \his music to New York, living and performing there. Since returning to Texas, he has continued to write, perform, and release acoustic and electric music. Seaman currently plays and records with Why Not Satellite.

The Gypsy Drifters Saturday, October 14, 7:30pm The Gypsy Drifters  were reborn right out of The Owl. Brian Mckinney, an excellent singer\songwriter and favorite regular performer at The Owl for several years now has added to the line up to include Gary Luedecke on bass from his 48 year retirement as a musician.
Mark Ambrose Saturday, November 4, 7:30pm American singer-songwriter, Mark Ambrose has been turning out songs faithful to the Texas folk/roots tradition yet still sounding like a much needed revival for our modern times. His particular charm, laidback and charismatic, is deceptively simple but also satisfyingly profound as the very best of folk music should be.
Giulia Millanta Saturday, October 28, 7:30pm Giulia Millanta is a songwriter from Florence, Italy, now based in Austin, TX. She is a traveler. She is a writer. She is a performer who uses her own unique style in combination with various genres to craft music that \connects cultures.

Come Celebrate Molly’s Birthday Weekend
The Page Turners Saturday, November 11, 7:30pm Carolyn Kendrick and Jake Howard, are an award-winning group (2016 Freshgrass Best Duo) who have a strong foothold in the acoustic music scene. Their partnership began as musical friends at Berklee College of Music. The Page Turners write sharp and adept original music, as well as put new twists on old favorites. All together, they blend their love of bluegrass, whiskey-fueled old-time, country, swing, and fearless song-writing into one all-purpose seasoning of good ole' fashioned roots music.
